Sponsor a Pastor to go to a Leadership Conference

AMEN are sponsoring a leadership conference for up to 120 pastors. The conference is mainly for the pastors who are serving the Lord in the villages and rural areas in India.

The conference will be a great encouragement to them. It will cost just £60 for a pastor to go to this 3 day conference, but this is more than they can afford themselves.

Most of the pastors are theologically untrained and many of the pastors are not very educated. But these pastors along with their wives are doing amazing ministry. These pastors are visiting unreached villages, sharing the gospel and planting churches. They are hungry to hear God's word and receive teaching

Many of these pastors don’t get an opportunity to attend a conference and have never travelled out of their villages and districts.

Our vision and mission is to bring those pastors to Goa (Goa is considered as a foreign country for Indians) for three days of seminars and fellowship and teaching about Leadership, family and church planting.

Impact and benefits of the pastors conference:

Good network among the pastors

Good unity among the pastors

Making connections and inviting each other

Praying for each other

Encouraging one another

Quality time with husband and wives

Making use of the teaching materials/ messages

Testimonies of the pastors:

At the end of last year's pastor’s conference, we had very good feedback from the pastors about how the conference had been a blessing to them and how grateful to God they were for the provision.

Testimony of a pastor, who came to the conference last year:

"I am grateful to God that I got an opportunity to come to the conference in Goa. The conference helped me and my ministry to grow. Last year I was very disappointed and discouraged in the ministry. I was very, low and struggling and I was in doubt about my calling. I was thinking to give up the ministry.

But when I came to the pastor’s conference and listened to the teaching, I felt that each message was for me and God was speaking to me. I made the decision not leave the ministry but to continually trust in the faithfulness of God even when things are not going our way. If I had not attended the conference, I don’t know where I would be now."

Another pastor's testimony:

"I have been greatly blessed with pastor’s conference in Goa. Every year I look forward for the conference. Every year after the conference I get inspired by the teaching and fellowship with other pastors. Since attending the conference my style of preaching and ministry has changed for the good. It is helping me to interpret the word of God rightly.

I thank God and also, I am grateful to people who sponsor us to come to this conference."

This year we are taking the pastors to a hotel near the sea for the conference, which again will be a blessing as many of these pastors would have never seen the sea before and would have never stayed in a hotel.

The £60 will include the pastor's train travel, food and accommodation in the hotel, as well as all the teaching sessions in the conference.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
