<h3><strong>Keeping families together</strong></h3><p>Grapevine is an outreach programme for children living in scavenger communities, who can remain living at home but without support would find attending school very difficult and may have to abandon their education and work as a scavenger on the dump to provide income for the family.</p><p><span style="color: rgb(66, 66, 66); background-color: transparent;"> </span></p><p><br></p><h3><strong>Support for schooling</strong></h3><p>Through Grapevine, the family receive financial support for books and travel to school until the child completes their full time education in local schools, colleges and even University, giving them the best opportunity to reach her potential.</p><p> </p><p>Crucially Children of the Dump covers the income that the child would otherwise earn helping their parent scavenge on the the Dump, allowing them to carry on with studies without the pressure of feeling they should be helping her family.</p>
