100 mile cycling challenge!
Friends and family kindly sponsored me (and 2 friends) in 2011 doing the Great North Run to raise money for Cancer Research UK (CRUK), because my Mum passed away from cancer in 2010. This year, on June 1st, my grandfather also passed away from cancer; this has sparked me into action again!
Cancer Research UK (CRUK) funds the research and development of new and ground-breaking cancer drugs. To do this, this charity relies on income from donations/fundraising, and corporations (such as sponsors and retail). In 2016-17, CRUK supported £386 million worth of research which wouldn't have been possible without your help.
I'm cycling 100 miles in September (in the Vélo South - https://www.velosouth.com/) to try and raise money for this amazing, internationally-renowned charity to help them carry on the work we all rely on: in the past, the present and the future!
Please spare any money that you can, to help this charity do their amazing work.
Thank you so much!
