Simple beach volleyball court. Nyabihu Deaf School
They have a wonderful new school at Nyabihu, north West Rwanda, for the deaf children who live there during the term. It is so exciting to see the good facilities in classrooms, offices, the toilet block and dormitories that they now have. They have more space too for the chidlren to play. However, they would like to raise some money so that they can play team games and a beach volleyball court would be perfect. If we could raise £700 by the beginning of January, then they could have the court ready for the next academic year which would be fantastic! Please give generously. Sport is such a leveler. A deaf child can be just as agile as a hearing one on the volleyball court! In the picture you can see the area where the court will go. At present, they are playing on an uneven, stony surface, which is dangerous, especially when playing in flip flops!!
