Pink Champagne Breast Cancer Survivors’ Dragon Boat Team was established in 2008 by a group of breast cancer patients, in collaboration with the breast cancer team at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and a team of exercise therapists. Based in Christchurch, Dorset we are now one of 195 teams worldwide, inspiring and encouraging other breast cancer survivors to join in.
Your donation will allow us to continue promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of those that have had treatment for breast cancer through a shared love of Dragon Boat Racing.
If you would like further information of what we do as a team or where we go then please take a look at our website - www.pinkchampagne.org.uk.
Thank you for your donation it means the world to us.

On May 11th we will be undertaking a "Moon Paddle" on the river Stour and will paddle up the river at Tuckton and Christchurch for the equivalent of 26 milesPlease support us in our Marathon paddle which starts at 2pm and finishes at
11pmWithout your help and donations we wouldn't be able to support and inspire all
ladies who have battled breast cancer and who are recovering from the impact it has had on their lives and their loved onesPlease help us keep our boats afloat
Along with my Pink Champagne team mates, I am attempting to paddle 27 miles, our equivalent of the Moon Walk. The funds raised will enable Pink Champagne to support more women to embrace and enjoy life after breast cancer.
I am participating in
a 27 mile 'Moonpaddle' to raise much needed funds for 'Pink Champagne breast cancer survivors Dragon Boat team'.All of the paddlers including myself have had breast cancer journeys and are members of 'Pink Champagne'.The Moonpaddle takes place on Christchurch Harbour and co-incides with the Moon Walk taking place in London.
We are a charity and survive on fundraising events such as this to help maintain and store our 2 dragon boats which is costly. On a personal note, this team has helped me with both physical and mental wellbeing and this is my way of giving something back.Thank you in advance for donatingCarolyn x
As most of you know I am a member of pink champagne which is a charity that is very close to my heart, to raise funds we are partaking in a moon paddle. For the moon paddle we have to paddle up and down the river stour making it the equivalent length of a marathon! The donations that we receive throughout the year help us upkeep the boat and safety equipment, without these donations we would not be able to paddle and also would not be able to help show others that there is life after breast cancer.
Thank you for any donations/sponsorship
Please support me as I attempt to paddle 27 miles in a moon paddle alongside my fellow pink champagne teammates . Any money you pledge will help us to keep this charity “afloat” . Being part of such a inspirational team has helped me to recover physically and emotionally after breast cancer treatment. I am raising money so other Breast Cancer Survivors can experience the health benefits and support that being part of a dragon boat team can give 💕
I am taking part in a 27 mile moon paddle with my fellow Pink Champagne ladies to raise money to continue to promote the need to live a healthy and active life after a Breast Cancer diagnosis.
Please support me as anything you can spare can help us support and spread the word of Pink Champagne.
The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
