About Southampton Family Trust

Southampton Family Trust provides support for families where a child is at risk of harm. The charity helps parents to provide a nurturing, loving and positive upbringing for their children. Families are referred by Social Services, schools, family navigators, early intervention teams, probation and local domestic abuse agencies.

The charity is a member of the PIPPA Alliance working with other organisations to end domestic and sexual abuse in the city.

Southampton Family Trust is a Christian-based organisation, offering services to all, regardless of race, colour, sexuality or religious belief, and does not seek to impose beliefs on others.

Maple's Mountain a Month Challenge

Mission completed! On 30/12/19, on Maple & I summitted our 12th mountain (>610m) in consecutive months)in an attempt to enjoy the great outdoors and raise awareness of the fabulous work of Southampton Family Trust.
Why?Why not? I miss the mountains. The only thing better than climbing one is being on its top. It'd be irresponsible not to introduce a highly-energetic working cocker spaniel to some of the UK's most beautiful uplandsSouthampton Family Trust is a local charity which supports disadvantaged families. The charity relies heavily on volunteers so take a look at their website. Is this for you? Grant funding finances much of their work but each year funds have to be raised to cover office/staff costs to enable the valuable work to continue. Small donations go a very long way in this business....

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
