The Great Ouse Challenge - 7km run
This didn't go up earlier due to technical issues but on Saturday 12th October I ran the longest distance I have ever run in one hit! I ran a 7km loop along the soon to be opened A14 for the amazing charity Take Our Hand. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't
make the whole thing as I've recently been ill, not been able to train & it was quite windy when lining up. But the fates aligned, paracetamol kicked in, a brand new flat road and the wind dropping brought it all together and allowed me to run the whole loop! I took it slow and steady and it meant I somehow kept going! (I did geek out a bit when I went over the new viaduct though).
In celebration of this, any donation to Take Our Hand, an amazing charity helping young people through bereavement will be greatly appreciated. Please go through to their page to find out more information about them and what they do.
Thank you so much for your support in this 😁
