Milton Keynes Half Marathon
Stephanie is stepping way out of her comfort zone and running her first half marathon on Sunday 3rd May. After undergoing IVF, suffering with pre eclampsia and a ruptured placenta, having two emergency c-sections and two premature babies all in the space of two years, Steph has decided to regain some of her confidence by putting herself out there and taking on a challenge she would have laughed at previously! She is also determined to keep training through a 6-week course of radiotherapy she has coming up. Steph saw this as an opportunity to raise money for charity, as this will be a big challenge for her, but it made her think about those people who are living a challenge everyday. The Hibbs Lupus Trust is a charity close to the hearts of residents in her village who she has been lucky enough to become friends with. Stephanie will be running to represent 'Team Alice', a group dedicated to raising money for Hibbs Lupus Trust. Here is a link for 'Team Alice' detailing Alice's story.
I am proud to be representing Team Alice and hope to raise as much as I can to support the Hibbs Lupus Trust!
