Bentley School PTFA is a registered charitable body made up of, and supported by, parents, teachers and friends of Bentley Primary School.
Bentley School PTFA exists to raise money for the benefit of all the children at the school, to complement their education and to give facilities over and above those provided by the Local Education Authority. We do this by organising fundraising events that are fun, enhance community spirit and provide social entertainment for the children and parents alike. All parents are automatically members of the PTFA and we encourage everyone to get involved in some way.
Every penny we raise goes towards making our school the outstanding place it is and gives our children the added extras that so many other schools are unable to provide. We have a regular commitment of funding the maintenance of the additional school minibus. This alone totals more than £3,000 per annum.
This year we have set a high target for fundraising. By the end of the school year we hope to have raised enough to purchase a new minibus and are certainly well on our way having run the Bentley Ball and Promises Auction which took place in March.
To achieve this we rely on our parents and friends of the school donating their free time and baking, buying, eating, drinking, quizzing, promising, cycling, dancing, donating and bouncing!
The important thing to remember is that everything we do is for the direct benefit of ALL of our children. We ensure that whatever we spend money on, there is a direct link to improving our children’s experience and learning in their time spent at Bentley Primary School.
Information about our events - past and future can be found on the school website by clicking here.

Too much of a good thing can be #wonderful. – Mae West
The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
