This is the third BBB ride for me so I know it will be hard, and it will hurt ... especially riding my 30 year old road bike that is held together with rust and duct tape. It's not the most mountain worthy bike, but it got me from Cirencester to Paris, and Paris to Nice, so it's only right I continue the journey from Nice to Barcelona on Rusty Bob. It makes it even more of a challenge ;) That and the fact that I am no cyclist! In between these mammoth charity rides, I do absolutely no cycling so there's a lot of work to get mountain fit! But I know that it'll be worth the pain to be part of a team of amazing people raising money for such great causes.
As well as raising funds for The Ashley Scrivens Foundation, I am also raising funds for The Big Yellow Bus Project - a converted double decker bus in Cirencester to provide shelter for homeless people and support them in getting back into work. https://www.facebook.com/groups/325059717924517/about/
