Kepplewray’s story

Here at Kepplewray we are always looking to add to our great range of activities. Our next target is raise funding to build an accessible zip wire that will enable all of our guests to take part in this confidence building activity.

We're currently half way to our target, why not help us reach our goal and get the zip wire built.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.

Kepplewray is a Christian-based charity, set up to encourage inclusion for all regardless of ability. We tailor-make activities for thousands of young people from schools, churches and other groups every year, dependent on the group’s abilities. We encourage self-development of everyone who comes to us, and help all to gain in confidence and personal resilience through activities and learning together.

Our accessible centre in set in beautiful countryside of the south Lake District National Park, in the Duddon estuary, with great grounds for some on-site activities. Other outdoor activities include abseiling, kayaking, ghyll-scrambling, mountain walking, rock-climbing, bush-craft, wild camping and many more led by expert, qualified instructors. What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
