Elissa’s story

As many of you know our son Harry passed away suddenly on the 2nd of August 2017 after a 5 month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the age of 5.💔

I'm turning 40 in a couple of weeks

😒🤔😣☹😂and would love it if instead of a card, gift or because you want to, a donation be made to this fabulous charity in memory of Harry.

This charity was set up by friends we made on Ward 31 at the LGI who's brave son Fletcher lost his battle at the same time Harry was diagnosed and began his. What Leanne and her family provide for children on the ward and at home means a lot to us and other families. Receiving a goodie bag with crafts and games in brightens a child's day and brings welcome distraction for children like Harry that have not been out of their hospital room for weeks due to being in isolation or severely poorly.

Every penny counts whether it be a £1 or £100000 (🤞)

If you know someone that could help with the Charity by providing fundraising support or craft items for the isolation bags please contact Leanne at Fletcher's Fund.

Dont worry If you are unable to donate, please add a touch of gold to your profile picture to show, awareness and support for the battle against Childhood Cancer this September.

Thank You

Elissa

Fletcher's Fund

Fletcher's Fund was founded in memory of a 23 month old little boy, Fletcher, who died of cancer. Our charity's aim is 'making memories' by providing grants to families with children living with cancer to enable them to buy new toys and play equipment, go on days out and contribute toward holidays. Anything to help the families and children have fun and make precious memories together. We also donate Arts and Crafts bags to Paediatric Oncology Wards.

Registered Charity Number: 1172985.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
