Adam & Rob’s story

On 16th September we will be cycling unsupported approximately 1000 miles from Santander's head office in London to the headquarters in Madrid (including a ferry journey to keep us dry across the Channel). We are raising funds for Romsey Cancer Support Centre - Jane Scarth House founded in the name of Adam's mother-in-law who sadly lost her battle with cancer 25 years ago this September.

This is the greatest physical challenge that Adam has ever taken on and whilst a slightly more seasoned rider, will represent a great challenge for Rob also. Please find your way to supporting us in our challenge, to continue to raise the profile of this fantastic charity as well as raise much needed funds to enable the work to continue.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
