Friends of AICM provide primary education to a needy community in a remote location of South West Uganda in Rubanda District. This is a Batwa (Pygmy) community seriously neglected by government. Current funding of around £60,000 generously given, has enabled the building of two class rooms with small staff room and head`s office plus a 4 stance latrine. For 120 children this is insufficient. Our full plan is for another two class room block, a second latrine and a teachers house.. We hold a reserve of £16,000 and require a further £20,000 in order to construct this second class room block. PLEASE help us towards completing this project which will enable us to provide the education opportunities that these children deserve.
