Seven Spikes EID CAMP 2021
WHAT AND WHY: Seven Spikes Relief is pleased to offer our Muslim community members of all ages (especially families) a chance to stay together and celebrate Eid ul Adha in a beautiful countryside campsite where they get to know one another more closely and enjoy a semi-local vacation and halal entertainment with various social, religious, sports and cultural activities. The campsite is under 35 minutes away from South Woodford/ Woodford Green, Clayhall areas. Thus, we can enjoy the beauty of the countryside and woodlands and get great social and religious benefits while still very close to our homes.
WHEN AND WHERE: The first weekend after Eid ul Adha, from 10 am on Saturday 24th of July to 9 pm on Sunday 25th of July 2021. Participants are advised to book both days but those who cannot attend both days can book either Saturday or Sunday.
Venue: Thriftwood Scout Camp Site & Activity Centre. Address: Orchard Ave, Brentwood CM13 2DP. Seven Spikes booked two campsites and a centrally-heated self-contained lodge that can be used for cooking, shelter or even sleeping in case of bad weather conditions. However, the plan is to spend the night in tents on the campsites for those who book both days.
HOW MUCH AND WHAT IS INCLUDED:
Fees: £ 30 for both days OR 18 for one day. Fees are for per any person aged 5 years or more. Kids under 5 (born after 24/07/2016) go free.
This is a subsided fee which cover the two campsites, the Lodge, full board including two barbecues, fruits, desserts and drinks as well as activities.
The event is organized and supervised by Seven Spikes Relief, which is a registered charity serving the Muslim Community in various parts of the world and it is subsidized by the charity as a service to the Muslim Community so any donations/ extra contributions towards the actual cost are welcome and appreciated.
Activities include: barbecue, campfire, Kayaking, archery, climbing, Henna, Beneficial movies face painting, slides, ball games, as well as religious and cultural quizzes and competitions.
