Nina’s story

The Epping Forest Christmas Giving Campaign seeks to see that no child living in the Epping Forest district goes without receiving a welcomed Christmas present, this year.

We are raising funds and accepting new, thoughtful gifts, that will be distributed to local children and families who are most in need, and familiar to Civic Hub multi-agency community services providers and organisations.

Gifts will be provided for identified children, living in care, temporary accommodation, and in personal circumstances or conditions that might deny them the love, kindness or material experiences that every child should receive at Christmas.

Delivering presents:

Unwrapped, gifted presents can be delivered to the Epping Forest Civic Hub, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm from Monday 22nd November until Wednesday 15th December.

They can either be placed under the Christmas tree, in the Civic Hub, or left at the Civic Offices main reception desk at 323 Epping High Street, CM16 4BZ.

Online donations:

An Epping Forest Christmas Giving crowd-funding page has been set up, for members of the community to donate to. The fundraising page, administered by Voluntary Action Epping Forest, will see 100% of all donations spent on purchasing suitable Christmas presents for local children of all ages.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
