From July 9th 2023 until early September a Cub (9 years old), a Scout (11 years old), an Explorer (14 years old), a Leader and a GSL will be walking/ cycling the 1650 km from John O’Groats to Lands End – an adventure we have named ‘The Great Woggle JOGLE’. We would love for this to become a national adventure, with Groups from across the country joining us for as much or as little as they are able.
How can you get involved?
Would your Group, families from your Group or other local youth groups (e.g. Guides/ youth groups/ schools) like to join us on our journey for an hour or two, a full day or a couple of days? Please consider raising sponsorship if you join us to help make this a fantastic fundraising event.
Does your Scout HQ/ campsite (or even home) sit on our route and would you be willing to host us by letting us camp or stay on your land/ in your HQ?
Are you able to look at our proposed route through your local area and sense check it. Local knowledge is worth so much and we would be very grateful for your help!
Would you consider sponsoring our adventure?
Can you spread the word about this epic journey for us? The more people who know about it, the more amazing it will be!
Would you like to buy a 'The Great Woggle JOGLE' badge for your uniform or camp blanket, or a ‘The Great Woggle JOGLE’ woggle? The badges have been approved by the Hampshire County team and can be worn on uniform for 6 months either side of the event.
