Winscombe Primary School PTFA

Winscombe Primary School PTFA has been running for almost 50 years! We are a group of dedicated volunteers consisting of mainly parents and teachers from the school. Our main function is to support the school by raising as much money as we can to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences for the children. We also provide those 'little extras' that make school memorable, such as class trips, Wow days, end of term discos, in-school pantomimes, Christmas gifts and a visit from Father Christmas. Over the years the PTFA, have held a range of events to raise funds for the school. The yearly fireworks display and summer fair have been running since the 1970’s and are our major events, but other events have included Quiz Nights, Bingo Nights, Easter Egg Hunts, the annual Parents & Carer’s Christmas Party and the Summer Colour Run.
