The national burden of heart and lung disease is immense. It causes unquantifiable misery and almost every family has a member, friend or colleague who has died or suffered from heart and lung disease. The Foundation is able to support the relief of this burden of ill health by helping those who reach out and touch the lives of many people of all ages.
