Newtown Community and Recreation Association (NCRA) was set up as a charity in 1999 for the benefit of Newtown residents and the local community. The charity owns and maintains the playpark, playing field, car park and community garden in Newtown (Shropshire). The charity is run by local volunteers who are responsible for ensuring the objectives of the charity are upheld, the areas are maintained and funds are raised for the ongoing maitenance and development of the area. It costs over £2,000 a year just to keep the playpark open! We are grateful to everyone that is able to make a donation to contribute to us being able to keep these facilities open and available for all in the community to use. Thank you for supporting the NCRA.
