The Chaseley Trust

Chaseley is a unique, independent charity-owned care home located in a stunning location on Eastbourne’s seafront. We provide specialist, complex nursing care for adults with a wide range of neurological and physical disabilities such as, spinal injury, acquired and traumatic brain injury, stroke, loss of limbs and progressive conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone and Parkinson’s Disease. Our multi-disciplinary approach to care and rehabilitation includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, speech therapy, and an extensive activities programme that ensures our residents have a full, independent, and active life.

Our main source of funding comes from residents’ fees, which cover the cost of their care package and contributes to the daily running costs of the home. Various commissioning bodies fund the majority of resident care packages and we have just 5% surplus to fund all our additional costs, including the upkeep of our beautiful building, upgrading our equipment, and to provide the extra social and recreational activities and services that enhance the comfort and well-being of our residents, which is why we rely on donations and fundraising.  All additional non-care services provided at Chaseley cost in the region of £107,000 per year.We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports us and helps to raise these much needed funds.
