AMAT UK

AMAT UK aims to reduce homelessness by providing safe and secure accommodation alongside personalised support and collaboration with specialist partner organisations. Established for over 25 years in an area of high deprivation in Medway, we are a local expert in working with disadvantaged people with complex needs.

AMAT accommodates approximately 300 people experiencing homelessness annually. We provide an essential, high-quality service that delivers positive change to a community in need and AMAT's experience of supporting people, particularly those with complex and multiple needs, demonstrates a flexible, person-centred approach that delivers impact and encourages independent living.

AMAT also runs The Hive, a welcoming, psychologically-informed, accessible community project for all local vulnerable adults to engage with vital partner services. The Hive also offers events and opportunities to increase wellbeing and reduce social isolation, while working with the intricate and individual needs of every adult we work with. Annually through The Hive, we provide services to approximately 6,000 additional vulnerable people in Medway.
