Citizens Advice Epping Forest District provides a free, independent and impartial advice service to all comers on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face, and also to help improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

Our advice services are available by phone and email and we are open three days a week. We also deliver services in community settings including Epping Forest District Council’s Civic Hub (Tues and Thurs) and Waltham Abbey leisure centre (every Tuesdays of the month).

We work closely with community partners for example we can distribute Foodbank vouchers and also are a recognised Hate Crime reporting centre.

Clients come to us with a range of issues but they are mostly linked to financial wellbeing and we have caseworkers who can support people with specialist areas of concern such as debt, benefits and employment advice.

We have a great team of dedicated volunteers and a small staff team trained to deliver advice which is recognised under the QAA standard. As members of the National Citizens Advice service, you can be assured that our advice and guidance is audited and delivered by a brand you can trust.

As a charity, we rely on grants and donations to deliver our services and our thanks go to all our supporters, without their generosity, we could not keep our service operating.
