Friends Of Woodmansterne School

We raise funds for an amazing much-loved diverse South London all-through school in SW16.  We work in partnership with the school to fund enrichment opportunities for pupils that they would otherwise not receive.  This includes helping to fund:Trips to museums, art galleries, live music, theatre productions, places of worship, matches and other performancesAdditional curriculum activities e.g. bike and musical instrument lessons Activities to promote encourage healthy lifestyle choices including gardening, cooking, and free fruit.The cultivation of the Woody School Farm which aims to grow much of the food made for the children on site.Leavers hoodies in Yr 6 and Leavers ball in Yr 11.Library books. We want to ensure: All pupils can have equal access to enrichment opportunities We are transparent with how our funds are spentWe listen and act on feedback from staff, parents and carers We seek the views from staff, parents and carers on how our funds should be spentWe provide PFTA events which are inclusive and acknowledge the rich diversity of our school and local community
