Redcar Area Foodbank is a project of Footprints in the Community (registered charity number 1153121). Redcar Area Foodbank provides emergency food parcels to people in crisis, who are referred via a network of referral agencies. Clients bring a voucher to one of our centres and are offered a warm welcome and parcel, with food for at least three days. Clients can have up to four vouchers in a crisis period. After this they can be referred to Footprints in the Community's Next Step Shop project – Next Step Shops are subsidised members’ shops that can offer help to Foodbank clients longer term.
