Genesis Trust Bath

The Genesis Trust supports homeless, disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the Bath area, offering opportunities for them to make healthy choices and improve their lives and prospects. We do this by meeting their immediate needs, providing compassionate help and journeying with them as they gain confidence, learn new skills, overcome challenges, improve their prospects, and make choices to restore and rebuild their lives.

We recognise that poverty is not just about lacking material resources but can encompass a lack of relationships and support network, and a lack of identity and purpose. We aim to address this through practical help, personal encouragement, mentoring and training.

Almost without exception the people we support are dealing with multiple complex issues. Our projects ensure that we offer a unique, personalised approach which honours and values everyone, regardless of their circumstances, and recognises that everyone has a unique history.

We walk alongside people on an individual, supported and nurturing pathway towards a more fulfilled life and greater sense of wellbeing, recognising that the end goal will be different for each person.
