Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight is proud of its vision to host the UK’s first Alzheimer Café to be open every day. Our doors will be open to support anyone who needs us, 7 days a week. The Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight is already a vital service to the community across the Isle of Wight as we support over 200 people every month at our regular cafés. Our plan to extend our services to a daily café means anyone affected by dementia, whether that's an individual, a family member, spouse, friend, or carer, can seek help, support, and a friendly face any time they need it. As well as information and advice, we will provide a safe, friendly environment for anyone spending time with us. Tea, coffee, light refreshments, and a daily programme of activities including gardening, woodwork, art, music, and dancing will all be available. We believe our daily café will make a huge difference to so many lives. Dementia can feel scary, but no one has to go through it alone.
