The Simon Cooper Foundation was set up in memory of an inspirational young man who suffered with Cystic Fibrosis, received a liver transplant aged 16 and a double lung transplant aged 29. In 2016 he was diagnosed with Cancer. Throughout his life, he received incredible care from hospitals including Great Ormond Street, Papworth Hospital Addenbrookes Hospital and later from North London Hospice. Sadly Simon passed away aged 33 in July 2016.
Simon was passionate about fundraising. Now the Simon Cooper Foundation raises money for specialist medical care providers and hospices associated with Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis and life limiting conditions.
