Vedic Society of Southampton manages the only purpose-built Hindu Temple in the South of England. It is managed by volunteers. We have an employed priest. Our aims are to have a centre for Hindu religion, promote the study of Vedic teachings and study comparative religions and philosophies, have religious and cultural functions, have a meeting place for all Hindu diaspora, raise funds to run the Temple and further advance Hindu religion.
