The Hospice has built an excellent reputation within the local community for the quality of our care which has been further endorsed by the Care Quality Commission who gave the Hospice an overall rating of Outstanding following an inspection in February 2017.
Many people tell us of the difference we have made by making every day precious at the most difficult of times. Our care is local, free and is offered to everyone who needs it.
As a local charity independent of the NHS, our services cost £5 million to run, with over £4 million raised through the generosity of our local community. Together, as a community, we make a difference to the lives of over 1,700 local people and their loved ones.
