The Ross of Mull Historical Centre with its museum, expansive archive of local historical and cultural artifacts and documents, and its experienced and knowledgable team of volunteers provides an important resource that is at the centre of the community and greatly appreciated by residents and visitors. We are a centre for genealogical research either for patrons to do in person or as a service provided by our volunteers. The museum doubles as a meeting place and we sponsor a variety of cultural events throughout the year. We encourage involvement in the Centre from the local school and other community groups and individuals. We are an important information centre for visitors to the local area and provide refreshments and offer a disabled access toilet. We invited the local community garden into our grounds which has become a thriving resource for the area and a lovely asset to the Centre.
