Stuart’s story
I'm running the Farndon 10k race on 24th September to raise money for the Country Trust charity. The Country Trust is a UK-based charity that works to connect children from areas of social and economic disadvantage with the land that sustains us all. They do this by providing educational programs that teach children about food, farming, and the countryside.
Here at Oxbury, we are passionate about the work that the Country Trust does, and 58 colleagues are excited to be running the Farndon 10k to raise money for them. We've all been training hard and will work as a team to see everyone over the finish line!
I'm asking for your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal of £250. Any donation, no matter how small, will help the Country Trust continue their important work.
Your donation will help the Country Trust provide educational programs that:
- Teach children about where their food comes from
- Help children develop a love of nature
- Inspire children to get involved in farming and the countryside
I believe that every child deserves to have the opportunity to learn about the important role that agriculture plays in all our lives. Your donation will help the Country Trust make that happen.
