Bronagh’s story

We are planning to walk from our home in Ely to the Villiers Park Offices in Cambridge, this will be the longest walk we've done together so are excited to challenge ourselves and support Villiers Park!


Villiers Park is a national social mobility charity empowering young people to succeed and build their confidence. We work with underrepresented young people across the country to provide them with the skills that are vital for shaping their own future.


We are pledging to walk 25km, out of Villiers Park's challenge total of 1000km.

Official event

Villiers Park 1000km Challenge

There are almost 1000km across our hubs in Hastings and Bexhill, Norfolk, Tyneside and Swindon. We want to challenge Villiers Park staff, supporters, Future Leaders, and friends to cover these km in this activity challenge! You can walk, run, cycle, swim, hop, skip or jump as many km as you can, which will go towards the ultimate 1000km target. You have the whole of October to complete the challenge. You can do this from at home, at the gym, or track your course across the great outdoors. Challenge yourself wherever is convenient for you. You can sign up to as many or as few km as you would like. This event is meant to be accessible for all, whilst still being a challenge.

By coming together for this big event to celebrate the work we do, we hope to unite our supporters and current students, celebrate our incredible year of progress, and enable a new audience to support us too.
