Greg’s story
Hi I'm Greg and I will be fundraising for Feline Care Cat Rescue, East Harling.
Feline Care is an independent cat rescue based locally, and they rely on donations to provide a wide range of expert care and love to all the cats who come through the door.
We love that Feline care also offer a forever home free roaming on their lovely site for permeant residents.
You will be sponsoring me to complete the TRISudbury Sprint Triathlon on 12th June 2022. Which consists of 400m Swim - 23km Bike - 5km Run!
And when I signed up and started training at the start of April 2022 - I couldn't even run 100yards let alone 5K!
I've have been spending lots of time training, and last week (29th April) I managed to complete a training Duathlon with the club to see how the change overs etc will work for the day, and this was a 2.5km Run, 8km Bike, 2.5km Run.
I rocked up with my trusty 12yr old mountain bike - a little out of place with all the road bikes, but have to work with what you've got! And I got round in a pleasing time - 51mins.
So looking forward to adding the swim in, and the higher distances on the day now!
