Ann’s story
The Rona Trust is delighted to be asked to run a day sail aboard our boat, Merrilyn, for people living with Stage 4 Incurable Metastatic Breast Cancer. These people are having to constantly visit the QA Hospital for regular follow up’s, treatments and scans and so this special sailing day gives them the opportunity to spend time with others in the same situation in an environment that is relaxing and gives them a break from the challenges of living life with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
We have a dedicated team of volunteers ready to take them out away from the stresses of treatment and life and give them an opportunity to meet others suffering with the same disease in a calm and peaceful setting.
Fundraising Targets
All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
