Tessa’s story
Its been a few years (9 in fact!) since last joined the Pioneers but here I find myself back at spin, riding every weekend I can and getting ever more nervous about the challenge ahead!
In November, I'll be cycling over 1,200 km in 8 days — from the 19th-century Tijara Fort in Rajasthan, India, through rural countryside, sacred temples, and the Himalayan foothills to Kathmandu, Nepal. Along the way I'll tackle 8,629 metres of climbing, cross an international border by bike, and sleep in everything from 5★ hotels to a wild campsite.
This is Leg 15 of Ride25's epic UK-to-Sydney journey — a multi-year, 25-leg adventure that, by the end of this leg, will have covered 5,700 miles. I'm covering all my own costs for the trip, so every penny you donate goes directly to charity.
