Rebecca’s story
A new year brings new challenges and so I’ve decided (been pushed haha!) to get back on my bike and train for a very tough challenge to cycle coast to coast for Team Evie!
A few years ago I raised money for this wonderful charity walking around 3 lakes in Cumbria and running a half marathon, and I thought it was now time to help them once again. The Team Evie Charity supports sick children and their families from diagnosis, to hopefully recovery but in the sad cases, through bereavement support. Let’s hope my fundraising can be just as successful with this next tough challenge.
In a team of around 15 cyclists I will be cycling approximately 150 miles over 3 days across the country from Whitehaven, Cumbria to Tynemouth, Tyneside - I’m trying not to think about all those hills and the sore rear that will no doubt be encountered!!
If you can spare some pennies please help me raise some a good amount for this wonderful charity.
