SPCT’s story
We have put together a team for the Bewl Water Dragon Boat Race on the 2nd of September 2023 and our team will be raising vital funds for the Sussex Police Charitable Trust.
'I joined the Dragon Boat Team as I see every day the enormous impact the Trust has for members. Since I joined the Trust in October 2015, I've seen thousands of members receive support through difficult times including bereavement, life-threatening and terminal illnesses, injuries on and off duty, relationship difficulties and housing crisis. The Trust really does make such a difference and I will be paddling thinking of all the members the money raised will enable us to help.' Julie, Trust Adviser for the SPCT.
