Christopher’s story
Hey! You know I like cycling right? This time I am leaving the bike at home and on 7 May I am taking part in a Tough Mudder event at Henley with a team from Care and Relief for the Young. This is a charity that helps local people change the lives of children living in tough (and sometimes very muddy) conditions around the world.
As you may know, I work with this charity and so can vouch for the impact it has on the lives of children living in some of the poorest conditions on the planet - from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe! https://www.cry.org.uk/ . This time all money raised will go to support the prosecution of child abusers in Guatemala.
A Tough Mudder is an endurance event where the race participants ( aka victims) try to traverse a 10km course with military-style obstacle courses ranging from electric cargo nets to ice pools.
