High Peak’s story
Eight High Peak Explorer Scouts have succeeded in being chosen to attend the next ‘Roverway’ international scouting expedition in Norway in Summer 2024. This European event takes place every 3-6 years and is open to Scouts and Guides between the ages of 16 and 22.
This unique event for young people includes a self guided expedition across the first week and a large jamboree style camp near Stavanger, where the young people can connect and share experiences with others from across Europe and beyond.
As a team, the young people take responsibility for raising the funds to enable them to attend this genuinely life changing experience. They will be supported by the District and their own scouting groups to build skills and prepare for this challenge, so they can rely on each other far from home, connecting, volunteering, camping and travelling across Norway, and rise to all the challenges that will bring.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
