Aberdeen Heartstart’s story
Aberdeen Heartstart Society is completing 310 miles by New Year's day in support of Keirans Legacy. Keirans Legacy is a wonderful charity that raises money to provide defibrillators to local communities - read more about the cause and the story behind it here: https://www.keiranslegacy.co.uk/
Each year sees around 3,100 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (British Heart Foundation statistic) in Scotland - so we are challenging ourselves to cover a distance of 310 miles in December to fundraise for Keirans Legacy and help them save lives. In the festive period leading up to Christmas and New Year's, please consider supporting this important cause and end 2023 on a positive note ♥️ Every penny helps!
Aberdeen Heartstart is a group of medical students committed to teaching basic life support skills across schools in Aberdeen. We will be tracking our progress throughout the month on our Strava page.
