Dolly’s story
Fire is the element of passion, creation, resilience, energy and courage. Walking on it reminds us that we are alive, it reminds us to feel.
Gratitude for life is why I am partaking in this years Fire Walk.
I have lost many loved ones to cancer. Four years ago, I lost my beautiful Aunt. She was a pure ray of light, intelligent and honest. It has become a ritual of mine to honour her in every performance, every time I feel the warmth from the stage lights I take a moment to remind myself of how incredible it is to feel.
Cabaret vs Cancer is an incredible organisation and one that feels incredibly close to my heart.
Since becoming a registered charity in 2016, Cabaret Vs Cancer has been turning compassion (and iconic cabaret shows) into action, raising money to award grants to a range of incredible cancer support charities.
Every penny raised goes towards those affected by cancer.
