LS29’s story
In July 2026, some of our amazing LS29 members, families and supporters are taking on the Ilkley Half Marathon and 5K Race to raise funds for LS29 Special Needs Support Group.
Every mile run and every pound donated will help us continue providing fun activities, friendship, support and opportunities for local children and young people with additional needs and their families.
LS29 has been supporting families in the Ilkley area for over 20 years. We are run by parents and volunteers, with every penny raised going directly back into activities, events and support for our members.
Your support helps us provide:
- Inclusive activities and trips
- Parent and carer support
- Sports and social opportunities
- Holiday activities and events
- Opportunities for young adults aged 18+
- A welcoming community where families feel understood and supported
