Pals’s story
Laura and Kali are taking on the Phoenix Zip Wire at Zip World to raise money for Cynon Valley PALS.
PALS is a charity very close to my heart. I first volunteered with them when I was in my late teens, and years later I reconnected with them when Nell was 3. Nell is autistic, and PALS became one of the few places where I could take her and feel safe, accepted, and understood.
It has helped both of my girls, but it has also helped me as a parent. PALS gives families a place where there is no judgement — just support, fun, and people who get it.
I’m now proud to be a trustee for the charity, and Kali and I wanted to do something brave and fun to give back.
I have paid for the zip wire myself, so every penny donated will go directly to Cynon Valley PALS.
We would love to raise £200, but honestly, every donation, big or small, will help this amazing little charity continue supporting families like mine.
