Mark’s story
After a long break from fundraising, I'll be returning to run the 2024 London Marathon (with some challenges in between - like The 105 Project) and raising funds in partnership with Children First International (CFI) and supporting 'Our Harry's Smile.'
CFI are a small, independent charity that works to support children who are in need of help and support - physically and mentally. They also provide support to their families and communities, whether that is financial support or other forms of assistance
Harry was born with a rare chromosomal abnormality and profound hearing loss. This means Harry has severe complex learning difficulties, sensory processing disorder, and visual impairment. Harry is and always will be entirely dependent on others.
Harry has benefited from generous donations and fundraising efforts within the community, which has enabled the purchase of sensory equipment, specialist equipment and physiotherapy. All contribute to his development, especially with learning to walk.
As Harry grows and develops, his needs will change. In order to secure the best possible future for him, we continue to raise funds to cover the cost of Harry's ongoing physiotherapy. Funds will also be used to provide specialist equipment and other therapy, throughout Harry's life.
Please share and donate whatever you can. Let's help support those that can't support themselves.
Thank you!
