Katherine’s story
We are raising money for the Pink Champagne Breast Cancer Survivors Dragon Boat Team — an inspirational charity built on courage, strength, fitness, friendship, and community for those navigating life after a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
So far, I’ve recruited 38 amazing women, to take part in the Dragon Boat Festival on 27th September 2026, most of whom have never even sat in a dragon boat before! We’ve met, built a pretend boat on the beach, practised our calls, shared plenty of laughs, and now we’re ready to raise the roof and help keep Pink Champagne afloat — quite literally!
The money we raise will help support this incredible team by funding the maintenance of their beautiful pink boats, equipment, safety supplies, and storage. But more importantly, it helps protect something that can’t be measured — the sense of belonging, friendship, and support that is so vital after cancer treatment.
Every donation, big or small, will help ensure Pink Champagne can continue bringing survivors together, building confidence, improving wellbeing, and proving that life after cancer can still be filled with strength, adventure, and joy.
