Dear Family, Friends (Romans, Countrymen).
I’m off to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and I need your support please! 🙏🏽
Why: A Humanitarian Aid convoy will be taking much needed supplies. And yes, I’m at the wheel of a truck! 🛻🚛🚚🚐
What: In the main it will be medical supplies, food and clothing.

Who: www.TEECH.org are a registered charity who are organising this for the people of Ukraine in conjunction with UK-Aid which is part of the FCO (U.K. foreign and commonwealth office).
When: mid-March for 10 days (ish). 🗓️
Where: We will be driving deep into Ukrainian territory* and delivering to Revival - The Chernhiv Centre For Rehabilitation Of Children With Disabilities.
*full disclosure; when I signed up to this I thought we’d be “tipping” at the Slovak border! 😬
I’m in a blessed position to be offering my “skills” 🤷🏽♂️ as an unpaid volunteer. That said, the vehicles, fuel, ferry, customs clearance and the aid itself all need to be paid for.
The ferry crossing is being given at a discounted rate, various individuals, groups and suppliers have donated some aid supplies but that leaves a fair chunk still to finance for this and future trips (penciled in for June) hence this polite request.
Anything you can give, whether it be pounds, shillings, pennies, Turkish Lira, it’s all greatly appreciated!

If you’d like to be added to the group then drop me a note and I’ll include you. Equally, if you’d like to know more then feel free to ask. This aid trip is fully transparent and UK-Aid/FCO are aware.
Your 50p’s, £1’s, €2 or whatever you feel able to offer can be sent directly to TEECH. Or if you’d prefer you can let me have your donations and I’ll deposit it all in one lump sum. For U.K. tax payers, please don’t forget to “Gift Aid” your donations so an additional 25% is topped up by our awesome government! 🤑
No matter what your politics or stance on this invasion/war, you and I are in an immensely privileged and safe position. Ukrainian babies, children, women and men are in a place that we can only imagine. This aid will go to those in desperate need. If you can help then please do! 🙏🏽
