David’s story

On 23rd April Myself and my son Josiah will be climbing on our bikes for 66 miles of tough cycling around the legendary Loch Ness, starting and ending in Inverness.
As we circumnavigate the UK's largest body of freshwater, not only will we be on the lookout for its most famous inhabitant, we hope to raise money to help provide clean, fresh drinking water to rural communities in the Arua district of North West Uganda through the faith-based charity Pioneers UK.
Poisonous Water to Life-Giving Water
Pioneers worker, David Craig (from northern Scotland himself!) works alongside local Ugandans to transform contaminated natural springs into safe water sources by building simple concrete housings with filtration.
£1600 covers the materials and labour to transform one spring and bring fresh water to 3000 villagers.
Please join us in helping the people of Arua district, northern Uganda.
23/4/23 update….. we did it, thanks for your support!
