Helen’s story
I have taken on this challenge to raise funds and awareness for this charity which is very close to my heart.
Ipswich Opportunity Group support many children & I have seen first-hand the difference their ‘pre-schoolers with autism’ support makes. They have helped both a family member and a child in my care. They make a difference in so many ways, supporting both the children themselves and families surrounding them.
It is estimated there are 150,000 autistic children in the UK, many of whom go undiagnosed.
This is going to be quite a challenge for me so your support would be much appreciated. I turn sixty next year and always wanted to complete a marathon before this milestone. My training has highlighted new challenges and trying to train around ongoing injuries, has meant a different approach adding in strength training and flexibility as well as putting in the miles. The hopeful raising of money and awareness for this charity has been my motivation to push through these barriers and get to that finish line.
If you could possibly support me in this journey by donating to and sharing my Wonderful.Org link it would be very much appreciated.
