Keith’s story
The hotels have been booked, the route has been planned and the training is (hopefully) completed. It is now a case of cycling 90 miles a day and trying not to get too lost.
We are doing this to raise funds for The Lourdes Children and Families Trust. The Trust has over 10 years’ experience of supporting families to enjoy pilgrimage holidays to the Catholic Marian Shrine of Lourdes, South West France. They prioritise the support of families with special needs and enable them to travel as part of a pilgrimage community of families to ensure that we create memories and friendships that last a lifetime.
All cyclists are self-funding, have donated their own time and money to the cause and most will also act as volunteers during the pilgrimage week on arrival.
